The School Day
The school day for pupils runs as follows:
- School starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.20pm every day (32.5hrs per week).
- KS1 and KS2 have a 15 min morning break.
- The whole school breaks for lunch from 12noon - 1pm
Including our extended day offer, the school is open from 7.45am - 5.30pm each weekday, during term time (48.75hrs pw). The school office is open from 8am - 4.30pm each weekday during term time.
Children are met in the village hall carpark each morning. We have separated the school into two groups and ask that parents drop off their children in time for either the first or second slot depending on what they have been allocated. Children will be met by their teachers and walked up to school, group one at 8.35am and group two at 8.45. Parents are responsible for their children until they are left with a member of staff.
Please send your child to school on time. All children are registered in the morning and afternoon. Please make sure your child arrives at school on time otherwise a late mark will be recorded. It is very important that good habits are formed early. Being punctual is very important and helps the day get off to a good start.
